Hi! I'm David - travel blogger, photographer, videographer and full-time adventurer. A few years ago, I've set myself the mother of all tasks: to cross off EVERY SINGLE ENTRIES of Lonely Planet's Ultimate Travelist off my bucket list. This blog follows my adventures as I try to achieve this mammoth task: the ups and downs, the learning curves and the transitioning into working remotely to finance my journey.

Once upon a time...
...my life was an endless succession of emails, spreadsheets and meetings. My average week was a heady mix of #MondayBlues and #FridayFunday, and everything in between these 2 hashtags was "Life" (for lack of a better word) as I'd been told it was meant to be. Fast forward a few years and I'm camel riding in the vast desert of Wadi Rum, climbing mountains in Norway and exploring ancient ghost cities in India. I've traded spreadsheets and meetings for maps, adventure and a laptop and I've never looked back.

WORKING ON THE ROAD
Work is a huge part of what I do. It's what keep me on the road and enables me to carry on exploring the world. As far as I know, there is no secret formula or magic bullet. Just lots and lots of hard work and countless trials and errors to figure out what works and what doesn't. This section isn't a platform for me to peddle things to you. It's more an account of what I've figured out so far. I hope this shaves off a few weeks/months/(years?) off your own foray into financial independence!
